A Timeless Creation
From Adam’s time, came someone sublime
God’s perfect creation
A queen in Eden’s kingly nation.
And then she strayed
To eat the apple God forbade.
Bringing to mankind, hardship and labour
That today all of us savour.
Through the ages lived many a king
Who could not live without his queen
A most profound gesture
Stands the Taj in glorious splendor
A testimony of love, a statement so loud
That a woman is truly forever and ever and ever.
Mother, father, woman and man
The carer, the giver, the soul provider
The perfect balance, As God intended
Would life without her be intended?
Love her or hate her
She’s here to stay
Smart and witty, but not so expensive we pray
Can run as fast, can work as hard
Stares to kill, Smiles to thrill
Alas, Man’s time is ended, the woman, well, contended.
